The Growth of Our Program

Men's and women's cross country athletes

Last year was the inaugural year for Women's Cross Country. The result was a birth in the Regional Finals and 5 seconds away from sending our top runner to the State Championships. This year, the women return one runner from last year, but boast of a new team with a renewed attitude to run fast and run often! This year, they will have running partners. 2019 marks the launch of the Men's Cross Country Team at Norco College.  The team is currently small, but mighty and has a lot of fight. Mustangs like to run and run fast! This year's team will not disappoint. They were excited about their first meet Saturday, August 30, 2019, at the University of Redlands. Both Women and Men's teams traveled together and used this meet to evaluate themselves in preparation for the first ever Inland Empire Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Chaffey College on October 25th. Seven meets will be run between the and the conference championships, so focus will be the theme each week for the Mustangs. Grit, determination, and being coachable are the variables to success this year. The Mustang Runners have all three, so it should be a great season!
