Battle On!
We've all had our backs against the wall; felt like we couldn't get the job done. We all know the feeling of being overwhelmed or pushed to our limits. We also all know the thrill of victory; those times in your life where you had to "Battle On" despite the odds or the opponent. Today is that day for Norco College Athletics. The season has started and our teams have tasted both success and defeat. Without question, success tastes better. However, even in defeat there can be success…IF one can embrace the phrase "Battle On!" Winning the battle is the first step to winning the war.
At Norco College, we teach our athletes that the battle is really between their ears. Whether it is in the 89thminute in soccer or the last half mile in cross country…the battle is in the mind. Do you believe you can succeed? Do you believe you are worthy of winning? Do you believe you've got what it takes to bring home a victory? This year, the Mustangs believe in themselves! This year the Mustangs will BATTLE ON!
